Three questions: We'll discuss…
1) What are the foundational principles of biblical worship that transcend culture and can unify us in an age of cultural and generational tensions over worship issues? Is multi-ethnic worship biblical?

2) How can we engage in multi-ethnic expressions of worship that will help us welcome and reach out to the mosaic of ethnicities in our communities?

3) How can we draw from the rich diversity of worship expressions around the world to enrich our own North American worship practices?

Three outcomes: You will…
1) gain a biblical perspective of the inseparable connection between global worship and global mission, helping you to participate in God's mandate at the local and global levels.

2) gain a vision for multi-cultural worship in your church, as well as learn and practice appropriate ways to incorporate global songs and prayers into local church settings which reflect the ethnicities of your community and beyond.

3) learn about expressions of worship around the globe; hear and see how Christians in other parts of the world are using culturally appropriate music and arts in their churches.

This event is a ministry of the International Council of Ethnodoxologists (ICE) and is made possible in part through a Worship Renewal Grant from the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship, Grand Rapids, Michigan, with funds provided by Lilly Endowment Inc.

The ICE network exists to encourage and equip
Christ-followers in every culture to express their faith
through their own heart music and other arts.

We facilitate online networking and provide resources
for the development of culturally appropriate Christian worship,
utilizing insights from ethnomusicology, missiology, worship studies and the arts
.
