World Music at MidAmerica Nazarene University:  The world music emphasis at MidAmerica Nazarene University is designed to help students gain an appreciation for the music of other cultures as well as insight into the use of music as a vehicle for cross-cultural communication of the Gospel. This is facilitated through seminars, classes, and traditional performance ensembles representing a variety of cultures.

Heart SoundsHeart Sounds International (HSI), a division of the music ministry of Operation Mobilization (OM) sends teams of worship musicians and recording engineers to various nations to record indigenous worship projects, teach on biblical worship, organize songwriting workshops, and provide various kinds of music and technical training. Worship Resources, a ministry of Greater Europe Mission, desires to “to strengthen the body of Christ in the U.S., Europe and beyond by promoting the priority, understanding and practice of God-centered, Christ-exalting worship.” The main focus is teaching on biblical, transcultural principles of worship in Bible schools, seminaries and churches.
